Two happy and hard working male Coho Salmon swim up their natal river.
The story “Salmon Boy” from the Haida people explains the idea that the spirit of the fish lives in the water. So that if all the parts of the fish are not put back into the river, the spirit of the fish will have missing parts, and will not be able to swim back to the ocean to be reborn.
