In "Sentinelle" I seek to capture the light and colour of a certain time of day in the summer at the seaside, magical hues of cerulean and charteuse pink.

This painting also depicts interactions between human figures and landscapes. The figures—teenagers and young adults endowed mutate into rocks and sand as they adapt to their environment. The same adaptive forces that guide plant and animal life are at work in human consciousness: memory, perception, intuition, and collective response.
