"Shades of Violet 1672" draws from the year Isaac Newton first divided light into its spectrum, revealing that even white light holds multitudes.

This piece is a reflection on that truth; within each of us exists a spectrum too. Violet, the colour of spirit and transformation, becomes a symbol of self-discovery - of breaking apart, revealing our layers, and learning to stand in our light.
