My Christian Dior

There was something about Dior that always felt like more than fashion to me. It was architecture, movement, elegance—and theatre.

In My Christian Dior, I wanted the woman to feel as though she had stepped out of another era and landed in my world. Her black dress twists and expands across the canvas, almost taking on a life of its own. The controlled elegance of the figure collides with the explosion of color surrounding her.

The dress may belong to Dior, but the world around her belongs to me.

She is poised, glamorous, and completely composed while everything around her dances.

Perhaps that is what elegance really is—remaining still while the world explodes around you.
