The Dance

The Dance was created while I was physically moving and dancing to music. Rather than approaching the canvas with a predetermined composition, I allowed rhythm, movement, and emotion to direct the marks. The repeated lines, spirals, and layered forms trace the movement of my body across the canvas, turning the painting into a record of a lived moment rather than a planned image.
The work explores what happens when conscious control gives way to movement and intuition—when the body begins to create before the mind has time to interpret.
