The Life Under the Sea

Acrylic on canvas.

24x48x1"

"The life under the sea" is an original acrylic painting portraying a whimsical underwater world filled with colourful tropical fish, coral formations, delicate sea plants, sea fans, rocks, and a graceful seahorse. The lively vertical composition creates the feeling of an underwater garden, with vibrant reef formations surrounding a peaceful open area of pale blue water.

Expressive hand-drawn linework, bold black outlines, simplified organic shapes, and intricate coral patterns create a playful decorative character inspired by contemporary folk art. Turquoise, aqua, lavender, soft pink, coral, warm yellow, orange, and cream create a vibrant yet harmonious palette.

Flowing horizontal wave patterns bring gentle movement to the serene ocean background, while the sandy seabed adds warmth and depth. This cheerful marine artwork brings a whimsical tropical coastal atmosphere to a living room, bedroom, bathroom, beach house, or colourful modern interior.
