This painting explores the hidden spaces we carry within ourselves, mapping the delicate boundary between what we choose to show the world and what we keep safe inside. In many ways, I live as an open book; I value transparency because it invites connection, eases conversation, and allows others to feel comfortable. Yet, true honesty also requires knowing that not everything is meant to be shared. There is a proper time and place for vulnerability, just as there are quiet truths meant solely for the self. Through this piece, I invite viewers to reflect on their own private landscapes, honoring the parts of our stories that are beautiful, personal, and entirely our own.
