My painting process is a very intrapersonal, ritualistic, and spiritual one. I paint free flowingly and simply allow whatever comes to the surface on the canvas. I use expressive painting as a language of connection and integration for my body, mind, and soul. My inspiration comes from lived experience, emotions, dreams, and nature. When I paint, I find myself at home in connection with the deepest parts of myself and my relationships. As an artist, I feel I have succeeded when my paintings allow my viewers to connect and feel something within themselves.
