I'm one of those weird kids that liked this movie too much. And It's got so many memorably stupid jokes and even better one liners. This whole scooter sequence is probably my Roman Empire. I wanted to make a piece that was just something that eluded positive emotions. I think their dimwittedness fueled with ambitions and hints of passion, just creates this fun image of two dudes just living life. Albeit weird and extreme, they're determined. And It stands as a reminder to do what you want to do and face challenges as they come.

I hid pops of orange and blue in the clouds as a nod to the tuxedo scene in Aspen. And while I didn't go hard in the details outside of the hands and face, i wanted to make sure the actual scooter and briefcase were left recognizable in the composition. Those two elements are what help tell the story of their determination and why they seem so excited.
