Die Hard is one of the few movies that is engrained into my core. Growing up, this movie was constantly on TV; and now living in LA, I still stare at the Fox Tower in Culver City like a tourist. John McClane had the best one-liners to the bad guys as he creeped around the building avoiding bad guys. This images takes places during the beginning when we meet Sgt. Powell when John dumps a body out the window onto his cruiser. Where we get this image with the glorious line, "Welcome to the party, pal." I wanted to do something interesting for the glass since the background didn't provide much inspiration. The idea was to keep the focus on McClane while accenting him and not stealing focus. The glass is broken and pouring over the side as our perspective is looking up to John.
