Her work is entirely spontaneous, guided by a process of experimentation, discovery, and responding to the previous mark. Her works have a sense of play and wonder, with a 'do I, don’t I, should I, well, why not?' approach, creating unplanned surprises of colour combinations and marks. She often works in limited palettes, with a hidden surprise and loves to experiment with physical and visual textures. She surrenders to the piece, not worrying about what or how it will happen, leaving the process open to the joy of creativity. She hopes her pieces evoke the same sense of excitement and discovery for you, the viewer, to enjoy, with an added dash of whimsy through her playful balance of shapes and lines.
