I had the absolute honour and pleasure of living in Sooke BC during the Covid 19 Pandemic with daily access to the wild outdoor places that lift my spirits and fill my artist heart with inspiration. Whiffin Spit is a very popular regional park on a spit of land that curves into the Ocean between Canada and Washington State. The deer, bears, cougars and whales are still at home here and I depicted the feeling I had towards the landscape and environment using 99% natural botanical inks in this piece.
