Cristina Marino is a self-taught artist has been drawing & painting since she was a young child. She was Born in Montreal, Quebec. Cristina feels a strong connection to Music when creating art pieces. She paints mainly in acrylics on canvas and oils. Cristina’s extraordinary use of Music and imagination is clearly one of the major keys in her paintings. Her paintings are done with heart and soul and each have their own story to tell, for example when painting the violin she listens to violin chords to follow melody and see where it will take her in that moment. She believes art is an essence of yourself, sharing a part of you to the world. Paintings are all original and never duplicated. Painting for Cristina is a very serene experience, from the beginning to end there is a story to every art piece, the beauty it’s unique to each Person who views her Art.

Cristina listens to the sound, vibration, tone, and mood and then she expresses this holistic world. Cristina masterly uses the paint medium in a painterly technique and creates a lush world of colour and strokes into landscapes of sound.
