Cascade explores the relationship between control and spontaneity through successive layers of acrylic, allowing each mark to respond to the history beneath it. Drips become structure, texture becomes memory, and vibrant fields of color emerge through a process of excavation as much as addition.

Created as a large-scale diptych, the work invites viewers to move through the painting rather than simply observe it, discovering new relationships from every distance.
