A Blistery Day

Acrylic on canvas.

22x18x2"

This painting depicts the environmental conditions that the wildlife around us has to endure through everyday survival. The snow blows around this coyote reducing his visibility and making hunting more difficult, but he trudges through no matter what. His life depends on it. This makes me reflect on our own survival and how humans have lost their grit and urgency to survive. Life has been made too easy for us...this re-grounds me and makes me appreciate what I have.
