A Gentle Turning is about honoring the small, almost imperceptible moments of growth that shape us over time. It's about subtle transformation the kind that happens quietly. She woke up feeling lighter even though nothing around her has changed. But her heart is not the same. There is a settling of some sort and she can breathe deep.

While painting this piece, I kept thinking about how change often arrives softly. The circular format creates a sense of contained movement, like a breath turning in the body.

Layers of turquoise, blush, lavender, and soft ivory blend into one another, forming a dreamlike atmosphere of florals. The background holds a deeper contrast, allowing her illuminated skin and delicate features to emerge with calm presence.
