A New Garden Begins

Oil and mixed media on canvas.

12x12x1.50"

An expressive floral painting about new beginnings, beauty, and the quiet joy of watching something bloom.

Loose blooms rise through layers of soft blue, blush, lavender, coral, and green, with gestural stems and energetic marks giving the flowers a sense of movement. There is something hopeful about the way these flowers seem to emerge from the canvas; delicate, imperfect, and full of life.
