Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is my abstract tribute to the serene beauty of Kyoto’s iconic bamboo grove. Inspired by its soaring verticals and dappled light, I reimagined the scene through bold contrasts, layered textures, and fluid forms. Using both airbrush and hand-painting techniques, I sought to convey the quiet rhythm and immersive energy of the space. Vivid greens, deep shadows, and luminous highlights create a sense of motion and stillness. This piece invites viewers into a moment of reflection—where nature’s elegance and strength converge in a timeless, contemplative atmosphere.
