During an artist workshop in California’s Central Valley, this piece emerged as an exploration of time's transformative power. The surface tells a story of erosion and renewal through peeling layers and earthy tones of gold and rust. Bees, etched into the layers, offer a symbolic nod to patience and effort, their hive-building echoing the artistic process. Subtle traces of earlier layers and marks remain visible, revealing the evolving journey of the work, much like time leaves its mark on all things.
