Birches in the snow was inspired by a winter walk in Alberta, Canada. A soft acrylic background is contrasted with textured bark and touches of copper and silver. The marks in the snow make one wonder who else has walked here. A rabbit? A child? A deer? Birch trees represent new life and growth even in the midst of winter. They are a sign of hope.
