“Bloom” represents the quiet transformation that happens when something within us finally begins to emerge.
Created with oil paints, the layers of color and texture symbolize the different experiences that shape a person—joy, pain, uncertainty, hope, and growth. The abstract forms suggest that growth is rarely neat or predictable. Sometimes, we feel as though we are falling apart before we realize we are becoming something new.
At its heart, “Bloom” is about becoming. It is a reminder that we do not have to have everything figured out before we can grow. Like a flower pushing through the soil, we can emerge from difficult seasons carrying the evidence of everything we have survived.
The artwork invites the viewer to see their own story within its colors and movement: a reminder that even after seasons of darkness, there is still something inside us capable of blooming.
