Catalyst for Social Change uses Shin Noodle paper to explore cultural hybridization, how cultures blend and shift when people migrate. It's part of my 2024 series investigating my Jamaican family's stories and what their migrations have meant. I made this with acrylic paint, Shin Noodle wrapping paper, pencil, and acrylic marker, asking what happens when cultures collide and transform into something entirely new.
