Each wood panel is 6" x 24" x 1.5". The artist used original photos of lichen and bark and transferred the photos onto the wax. Lichen is a composite organism that arises from algae and multiple fungi in a mutualisitc relationship - they can not survive as separate organisms. Circles represent the connections we have with one another as well as with nature.
