Day by day- Triptych I Life rarely transforms in a single moment. More often, it unfolds quietly—through small choices, repeated efforts, and unseen acts of courage that accumulate over time. This triptych, Step by Step, Day by Day, Piece by Piece, is a reflection on the beauty of gradual becoming. Across the three paintings, vibrant teal, purple, and orange move through the compositions like shifting states of being. Teal speaks of growth and possibility, purple carries introspection and wisdom, while orange radiates the energy required to keep moving forward. Together, they create a visual rhythm of persistence, hope, and transformation. Layers of cream, yellow ochre, pink, and crimson weave through the surface, carrying traces of memory, vulnerability, and joy. Fragments of newspaper are embedded within the work like pieces of lived experience—moments, stories, and voices collected along the journey. Some remain visible, while others disappear beneath layers of paint, much as our experiences continue to shape us long after they fade from conscious memory. Dripping paint flows freely across the canvas, refusing perfect control. It echoes the unpredictable nature of life itself—the detours, setbacks, and unexpected turns that become part of the story. Yet amid this movement, a recurring infinity symbol appears in each painting, quietly connecting them. It serves as a reminder that growth is not linear and that every ending carries the seed of a new beginning. Together, these works honor the slow and often invisible process of becoming. They celebrate the truth that meaningful change is rarely dramatic. It is built step by step, nurtured day by day, and assembled piece by piece. What appears ordinary in the moment can, over time, become extraordinary. The journey continues, the circle remains unbroken, and the possibilities are infinite.
