Much of my work examines the many ways that wildlife interface with the human built environment. This image was taken at the Boundary Bay Wildlife Refuge, a listed Important Bird Area and part of the Pacific Flyway migratory route. Here we see a large flock of waterfowl moving against a backdrop of tall buildings of a nearby municipality.
