While walking along the slippery paths on Lot 56 in St. Albert, I began noticing the subtle beauty in the melting snow—how sticks left small impressions, how colours shifted, and how the light changed throughout the day. These simple observations inspired an entire series of paintings, and this piece is the first in that exploration.
