Emerald Audrey

Acrylic on canvas.

40x60x2"

“Emerald Audrey” is a vibrant exploration of movement, color, and spontaneity. Sweeping emerald-green gestures dominate the composition, intersecting with deep crimson, flashes of yellow and unexpected passages of blue. A bold red geometric field provides structure beneath the expressive brushwork, creating a dynamic tension between freedom and control.

Layered acrylic surfaces reveal shifts in texture, transparency, and intensity, while areas of exposed white canvas allow the composition to breathe. Broad, energetic strokes contrast with smaller, fragmented marks, giving the work a sense of movement that extends beyond its central form.

Part of the “Drift” series, “Emerald Audrey” celebrates the unpredictable nature of abstraction, where deliberate choices and spontaneous gestures come together to create something entirely their own.
