I painted this scene inspired by the evening glow, that fleeting light that lingers just before night falls. A vast cloud catches the last sun, spilling warmth across the sky and sprinkling over the earth below. The fields underneath seem to breathe it in, held gently in its embrace. As I worked, I felt suspended between day and night, caught in that quiet, golden pause. For me, it is a moment of gentle transition, where night and day meet and everything feels possible.
