What do you think about when you gaze at the moon? Does it evoke wonder, spiritual expansion, emotions of longing or loneliness, dreams, romantic love or poetry? The moon plays an integral part in many cultures as a symbol of emotions, intuition, dreams and mysticism. This painting stems from listening to the song “Everyone’s Gone to the Moon.” While listening, this song aroused strong emotions of longing for love and connection in this world. When you are alone it sometimes feels like you are the only one.
