Historical Voices is part of an ongoing exploration of displacement, memory, and the relationship between place and identity. In this work, architectural fragments drawn from the rich and layered history of the Middle East unfold from a central space, appearing separated yet connected through delicate threads.

The work reflects on the silence surrounding women’s voices across generations. Hadieh considers the contrast between the cultural and intellectual richness of the region’s past and the limitations experienced by many women in the present. The threads suggest a possibility of reconnection, linking fragmented histories and imagining how these voices might come together, speak, and continue into the future.
