“Geometric Cedric" is about the correlation between mathematics and black consciousness by highlighting the African origins of mathematics, but also speaks on the racism and narratives that were used to push societal stereotypes that African-Americans were inherently less intelligent than whites based off solely off of mathematics a practice known as scientific racism. This piece debunks all stereotypes and shows that a mathematic scholar can come in any form.
