When painting this, there was this comic panel that has been stuck with me for a while. While in combat, face to face. An enemy tells T’Challa
“I’ve trained my entire life to face you.”
T’Challa responds with
“Then you have already lost.”
“For I have trained my entire life to face the unknown.”

That right there signified to me his dedication, determination and commitment towards the safety of all those around him.
