Acrylic on plexiglass (framed).

37x37"

From The Beatles’ Abbey Road, the song Golden Slumbers was based on a 17th century English poem. It’s a particularly apt title for this painting, set in a dreamlike environment of golden yellow and white surrounded by the darkness of sleep. Painted directly on the other side of the plexiglass plane.
...Golden slumbers fill your eyes
Smiles await you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling, do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby
