Hibernation — Acrylic and mixed medium on canvas, 48 × 72 in. Quadriptych: four 36 × 24 in. panels, bolted and ready to hang as a single work.
A winter birch landscape at monumental scale. The four panels are joined with custom hardware that creates a subtle architectural seam — visible but intentional, adding depth rather than disrupting the composition. Working with both brush and palette knife, the birch trunks found their own perspective organically, rooting themselves into the lower third without a predetermined plan. A single maple leaf in the bottom right corner is the only warm note in an otherwise cool, near-white field.
The work installs as a single unit and suits large-format walls in reception areas or open-plan spaces.

Un paysage de bouleaux hivernaux à l'échelle monumentale. Les quatre panneaux sont assemblés avec une quincaillerie sur mesure qui crée un joint architectural subtil — visible mais intentionnel, ajoutant de la profondeur sans rompre la composition. Travaillés au pinceau et au couteau, les troncs de bouleaux ont trouvé leur propre perspective de manière organique, s'enracinant dans le tiers inférieur sans plan préétabli. Une seule feuille d'érable dans le coin inférieur droit est la seule note chaude dans un champ autrement froid, presque blanc.
L'œuvre s'installe en une seule unité et convient aux grands murs des espaces d'accueil ou des aires ouvertes.
