Holding Stillness no. 1

Acrylic, charcoal and graphite on stretched canvas.

36x48x1.50"

Holding Stillness No. 1 began with the idea that quiet can hold both strength and tension. Soft, layered passages are interrupted by restrained marks and subtle shifts in tone, creating a surface that feels calm but not static. The painting reflects a moment of pause, when movement has slowed and attention turns inward.
