It has been a very interesting year for me. When I lost my job last May of 18 years I felt very lost and scared cause i thought how am I going to find work at the age of 52 in the hospitality industry. I kind of used to paint as a hobby and never took it seriously......but when I started painting again last October I went all in focusing just on art. It helped me recover from my anxiety and depression but it also gave me the courage to pursue it, painting everyday and putting it out there. This painting represents exactly that and now I am living that new story and I've never been happier.
