In the Summer Warmth

Oil and mixed media on canvas.

12x12x1.50"

The painting speaks to those moments when something within us begins to brighten again.

A luminous coral flower rises from a gathering of pale petals, lavender shadows, cool blues, and expressive greens. The contrast between warm and cool colour gives the composition a sense of movement. It feels like sunlight has suddenly found its way into the garden.
