Inspired by India Basin Park on San Francisco Bay, a place I pass frequently on my way to the studio, this painting celebrates the relationship between water, sky, and urban nature. The park offers moments of unexpected tranquility within the city.

Blue skies and luminous water reflections dominate the composition, creating an open and expansive feeling. Layered brushwork captures the movement of light across the bay.

India Basin has become part of my daily rhythm. Painting it allows me to honor the beauty that exists close to home and often goes unnoticed.
