This piece was an exploration in color, inspired by the colors of spring - hibiscus, azaleas, daffodils and forsythia. This is the feeling I had walking outside among the blossoming trees and flowers waking up from the long winter. The tall canvas was the perfect substrate to carry the strength of these colors and making the viewer feel the scale of nature.
