I've been very inspired by my Puerto Rican heritage. Dominos is a very popular game in the Caribbean. A great way for family and friends to socialize. When my Grandparents came to NY from Puerto Rico, they brought their culture with them. Dominos was part of that. They taught my parents and my aunts and uncles, my parents, aunts and uncles taught me, my sister and my cousins. We taught it to our kids. We still play the game when ever the family gets together. This painting gets a lot of attention from people who are from the Caribbean or who have Caribbean ancestry.
