La Maison du Rouge

She lives in a house of red.

Not a literal house, but a place built from passion, confidence, memory, and a little mystery. She has learned that you don’t always have to look directly at the world to understand it. Sometimes closing your eyes allows you to see more clearly.

La Maison du Rouge is about a woman completely at home within herself. The oversized hat becomes both shelter and statement, while the flowers surrounding her soften the intensity of the red. She is elegant but not fragile, quiet but certainly not invisible.

There is something wonderfully French about her—or perhaps it is simply the romance we attach to the idea of France: fashion, mystery, beauty, independence, and the confidence to wear an enormous hat for absolutely no reason at all.

She does not need our attention.

But somehow, she has it.
