This piece incorporates texture mediums, impasto and palette knife techniques to capture the depth & majesty of the mountains. Acrylic ink is used to capture the fragile fluidity of the partially frozen lake. The vibrant yellow trees capture one’s eye and soul.

Inspired by the Larch trees found in Banff and Jasper National Parks in the Fall. The vibrancy of the larch trees bring joy, hope and peace even in the face of impending winter.
Part of a larger collection of work, this piece further reflects an ongoing dialogue between land and spirit, inviting viewers to encounter the Rockies not as scenery, but as a place of refuge, grounding, and quiet power. “Larch Glory” offers the mountains not as spectacle, but as sanctuary.
