The LOTIC series is inspired by Vancouver Island’s rugged beauty, vibrant sunsets, and the deep, wild ocean. I am drawn to botanical abstracts because they offer a unique tension: the organic, unpredictable chaos of nature versus the intentional precision of symmetry. This balance reflects my own hybrid identity, blending a European education in art and animation with an intuitive, personal connection to pattern and form.
