Lovers in the Pink depicts a male and female figure rendered with a somewhat symbolic, graphic approach. Conventions of line, shape, and most notably, colour are utilized to call into question which figure is feminine vs masculine. There is a fluidity and asymmetry of form that is playful and light-hearted.
