《MIKA 17: EXPIRED GRAILS》
Original painting by Mr. Rainbow

EXPIRED GRAILS explores how short the lifespan of hype culture has become. What was once treated like a “grail” worthy of long lines, inflated resale prices, and internet worship can suddenly become invisible the moment the “NEXT BIG THING” arrives.

The painting pokes at how quickly people replace their obsessions, chasing temporary excitement disguised as meaning. Maybe the next big thing was never another product, but the parts of ourselves we keep avoiding.
