Story
In Mist, the world feels as though it is just beginning to appear. Colour drifts through the scene—softened here, bright and clear there—like glimpses of a landscape emerging through morning mist. The little clusters of colour feel like life stirring beneath the haze. I want the viewer to pause and let their own memories and feelings rise through it.

Process
I built the painting with many layers of colour, letting warm oranges and pinks mingle with greens, blues, and purples. Soft, blended areas create a hazy atmosphere, while brighter strokes and textured marks bring movement and contrast. I added small dots and clusters of colour across the surface, like tiny flashes of life showing through the mist. I kept layering until the painting held both softness and energy.
