The work originated from experimenting with acrylic pastes to develop textured grounds. One challenge involved introducing darker, diffused color that contrasts with fine crackles and lines embedded in the surface. This balance required careful choices with each addition, aiming for harmony rather than overload. To counterbalance the diffuse darkness, I incorporated rows of white dots, refining the visual tension.
