Inspired by the Japanese word for healing, “naoru”, this piece was my attempt at illustrating the grey area of healing. The in-between space where you may not be where you wish to be, but you have peace in knowing you aren’t where you once were; that your current composition, while imperfect and fragile, still retains a sense of simple beauty. This piece was created while listening to “Eternal Sunshine” by Jhene Aiko. Only two copies of this piece exist.
