“Nautical lines” is a vibrant abstract work inspired by a harbour at sunset, where cotton fibre lines evoke sailboat masts and anchor the composition both visually and metaphorically. The layered mixed media—textured blues, warm beige and yellow tones, and luminous gold foil—create a tactile, almost sculptural experience, suggesting light dancing on water. Bursts of vivid color introduce movement and energy, like flags in the wind, balancing rhythm with calm.
