Usually, the light shining down on the flower is what captures my attention. But on this occasion, the light shining from behind this Dendrobium orchid stopped me in my tracks. I could not resist the purple landing lights for the pollinators on the central petal, the light illuminating the patterns in the background petals, and the dark petals offset by the light green background.
